Terms and Conditions

Introduction

  1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) form the basis of the offer to participate in the Australian Bond Exchange $100 Visa gift card New Account Offer (“Offer”).
  2. Taking part in this Offer constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Australian Bond Exchange Pty. Ltd. (“ABE“) (ABN: 73 605 038 935) is the provider of this Offer.
  3. ABE reserves the right to vary or discontinue the Offer at any time, subject to applicable laws.
  4. Conditions of Eligibility

  5. The Offer is only available to customers who have satisfied the Eligibility Criteria for the Offer (“Eligible Customer”).
  6. The Eligibility Criteria for the Offer are as follows:
    • (a) The customer does not have, or has not previously had, an Investment Account with ABE;
    • (b) The customer is a resident of Australia;
    • (c) The customer is invited to participate in the Offer by ABE; and
    • (d) During the Offer Period the customer opens an Investment Account and places at least one trade at the minimum investment deposit of AUD $30,000 (“Account”).

    Offer Period

  7. The Offer is open from 19 May 2022 and closes on 30 June 2022 (“Offer Period”). The Offer Period may be extended or otherwise varied by ABE at any time.
  8. The Offer

  9. The Offer entitles an Eligible Customer to receive an AUD $100 Visa gift card.
  10. Each person who successfully takes part in the Offer is responsible for any and all taxes payable (if any) as a result of this Offer being awarded, received or accepted.
  11. Each person taking part in the Offer, to the maximum extent permitted by law, releases ABE from, and indemnifies ABE against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of or in connection with the Offer including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to any negligent act or omission or otherwise.
  12. A failure by ABE to enforce any of these Terms in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim by any person or prevent ABE from taking enforcement action later.
  13. The Offer is only available once for each Eligible Customer and does not include multiple Accounts being opened by the same Eligible Customer.
  14. This promotion cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other introductory offer, rebate or promotion offered by ABE.“General Advice

  18. Before acting on any information, advice or recommendation from ABE, the Eligible Customer should consider the appropriateness of the information, advice or recommendation, having regard to their objectives, financial situation or needs.

If these Terms, or any information, advice, or recommendation provided by ABE, relates to the acquisition, or possible acquisition, of a particular financial product, the Eligible Customer should obtain a product disclosure document relating to the product and consider that document before making any decision about whether to acquire the product.
  20. ABE, its directors, representatives, employees, or related parties, may have an interest in any companies or entities, or any financial product issued by such companies and entities, and may earn revenue from the sale or purchase of any financial product, referred to in these Terms or in any information, advice, or recommendation made by ABE.
  21. Neither ABE, nor any of its directors, representatives, employees, or agents, make any representation or warranty as to the reliability, accuracy, or completeness, of these Terms or any information, advice, or recommendation made by ABE.
  22. ABE, its directors, representatives, employees, or agents, do not accept any liability or responsibility arising in any way (including negligence) for errors in, or omissions from, these Terms or any information, advice, or recommendation made by ABE.
  23. Any reference to credit ratings of companies, entities or financial products must only be relied upon by a “wholesale client” as that term is defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). A wholesale client comprises sophisticated investors and professional investors under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
  24. ABE does not make a market in the securities or products that may be referred to in these Terms.
